With the bride’s appreciation for vintage pieces and the venue’s backdrop having a slightly rustic feel, our design for the evening was focused on the classic elegance of tufted furniture balanced with that of farm style chairs and reclaimed wood.

The garden setting where the reception took place was enclosed in rustic stone fencing, lined with Cypress trees.

For the table setting, we went without tablecloths, rather using vintage white open lace runners.  Keeping the tabletop clean and elegant, we selected silver chargers topped with detailed white china, cut crystal glassware and pure white napkins with crochet detailing.

About La Jolla

Kenzie and Collin have that love story everyone admires… they meet as children, they go about their own lives, and then they are serendipitously re-introduced and sparks fly.  Their love for one another is infectious and true, something that only comes with knowing one another in the awkward yet most impressionable years of our lives.  Both come from loving backgrounds with lasting marriages and entrepreneurial parents, so an intimate wedding was of utmost importance.  With family being a major emphasis, location was key in finding a space that felt warm and inviting, and what better place than the family’s boutique hotel in La Jolla, with wine served straight from the family’s winery!?

The garden setting where the reception took place was enclosed in rustic stone fencing, lined with Cypress trees.  The rustic pergolas already in place allowed the perfect opportunity to create intimate lounges throughout the outdoor patio, and further frame long farm style tables for family style dining.
