The challenge: find a rustic barn venue in Southern California large enough to fit 350 people. The solution: create a barn facade for an elegant, rustic design space in an otherwise empty location. With a bit of love and ingenuity, we proudly created our “Pop up Barn” for clients Laura and Rob! This creation won “Best Transformation of Space,” award by the Association of Bridal Consultants OC!

The juxtaposition of rustic reclaimed wood paired with elegant tufted furniture and draping, created a welcoming setting of western luxury.

While keeping in the country western theme, we wanted to create a dining experience that would stand proudly against any five star restaurant.  To do so, we brought in the French traditional design of the Sophia chairs, with table settings of polished silver, classic white china and plush red roses.

Rob and Laura had an array of various desserts for their guests, so to highlight the beauty of each individually, we created a number of small “vignettes” and utilized the desserts themselves as elements of design.

As the sun set low, the warm lighting of the wagon wheel chandeliers filled the space and the intimacy among the guests grew as everyone celebrated Laura and Rob’s marriage on the dance floor!  This is one design we truly will never forget, that has set the bar high for any future country style wedding… bring on the next challenge!
